06.14.2012Whether you are pregnant and want to get a heads up on how to breastfeed your newborn or if you have just had a baby and want some guidance and support, Clinic Sofia has a lactation consultant on staff to help with your breastfeeding questions and challenges. Nurse Practitioner Jaimi Anderson was recently certified as a lactation consultant and will be available to work one-on-one with patients and babies to ensure breastfeeding success. Clinic Sofia Leads State in Recent MNCM Report
06.07.2012Clinic Sofia received high marks for quality of service in the latest Health Care Quality report from Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM), a quality measurement and reporting organization. The clinic received above-average scores on at least half of the clinical measures reported: screening for breast cancer, Chlamydia, cervical cancer and colorectal cancer. In fact, Clinic Sofia was among three clinics that set the benchmark of 100 percent of patients, age 51-75, who received the appropriate screening for colorectal cancer.
