Clinic Sofia OBGYN, PA participates in most major medical healthcare plans. Insurance plans vary in the amount of coverage and medical services they cover. Please check your individual policy to see if Clinic Sofia is within your network and will cover your medical services.

Many insurance plans require the clinic to collect a co-pay when you register for your appointment. This information is often indicated on your insurance card. The receptionist will ask for your insurance card and identification when you arrive at the clinic for your appointment. Clinic Sofia accepts all major credit cards, checks or cash (please no bills over $20). If you have any questions about insurance, please call 952-516-7967 and ask for Angie.

MedicaidClinic Sofia OBGYN does not participate with straight Medicaid (MA). We due however, participate with other (MHCP) products such as; Medica MA, Ucare, MHP, and Blue Plus. If at any time your insurance falls to a straight MA status (Medicaid), you will be considered self pay and will need to pay for all services at check-in.

Self Pay PatientsAll self pay patients will need to pay at check-in for all services. If you are self pay and are currently pregnant, we require a down payment of $1500 (cash, credit card, money order) at the first visit and $100 each month to cover your expenses during your pregnancy. This covers the physician fees. It does not cover hospital charges or any labs that are billed outside Clinic Sofia.
