Services include the treatment of normal and high-risk pregnancy, adolescent and young adult gynecology, menopausal gynecology, gynecological surgery, and infertility. The clinic offers on-site lab services, prenatal testing, ultrasound, bone mineral density scans, and a nurse triage service to respond to your questions during clinic hours. Laboratory Information In Office Procedure Preparation:IUD Insertion: Please review the IUD Insertion Form and if you desire, you may take 2 ibuprofen one hour prior to your appointment. Colposcopy: To prepare for your colposcopy procedure, it is recommended that you take 3 ibuprofen one hour prior to your appointment. This procedure should be scheduled after your period. Cryo Therapy: To prepare for your Cryo Treatment, it is recommended that you take 3 ibuprofen one hour prior to your appointment. This treatment should be scheduled after your period. Endometrial Biopsy: To prepare for your Endometrial Biopsy, it is recommended that you take 3 ibuprofen one hour prior to your appointment. Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound: This obstetrical ultrasound is scheduled between 11 weeks 3 days and 12 weeks 6 days of your pregnancy. If you elect to have this ultrasound, you will also have the Alpha Fetal Protein (AFP) test at 16 weeks. If you decline this ultrasound, you will have the option of proceeding with the Quad Screen at 16 weeks. Outpatient Procedure Preparation:Hysterosalpingogram (HSG): The HSG is preformed during days 5-9 of your menstrual cycle. This procedure is scheduled at Consulting Radiology (CRL) and is scheduled through our surgery scheduler, Tasha. On the day of the HSG, we advise you to take either Motrin (600-800 mg), Aleve (two tablets), or Extra Strength Tylenol (three tablets) 45 minutes before the x-ray to help relieve the minor discomfort associated with the procedure.
