Dr. Fleddermann earned her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine after graduating with comprehensive honors in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is has completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she serves in a leadership role as Clinical Chief Resident.

Throughout her training, Dr. Fleddermann has been recognized for her academic excellence and dedication to women’s health, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and receiving the OBGYN Clerkship Academic Award. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care, and she has pursued additional training in family planning.
Dr. Fleddermann is passionate about providing comprehensive women’s healthcare across all stages of life. Her professional interests include prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, gynecologic procedures, and preventive health. She is also committed to patient education and ensuring that individuals feel informed and supported when making decisions about their care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Fleddermann has been actively involved in research and quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on advancing patient safety, surgical outcomes, and access to care. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and junior residents.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Fleddermann enjoys staying active, having been a former NCAA Division 1 cross country and track athlete. She values spending time outdoors, connecting with friends and family, and exploring new communities and experiences.
